LuxStar – the way to a loft-style door

Karolina is a fan of the loft style in interiors. Although her apartment is not very large (about 65 m²), she has decorated it in that style. One of the walls in the living room is decorated with brick from the demolition of a 15th-century building. Each of them is different, so when placed next to each other with a gray grout they look very original. Next to them stands a comfortable graphite-colored corner with a coffee table with a wooden tabletop and black steel legs. Instead of sconces, there is a large branch hanging from the ceiling, wrapped in thick rope with large light bulbs that give a cozy, warm light.

The only thing she wasn’t able to fix was the door to this interior. A few years ago, during the construction phase, she installed a sliding system in a cassette. She wanted to separate the kitchen from the living room without permanently closing the rooms. The solution works great. There isn’t a lot of space, so she especially appreciates the fact that the doors open in a sliding way, hiding inside a special pocket inside the wall. The cassette’s frame was made of repeatedly bent, galvanized steel, which gives it great rigidity. A huge plus is also the removable guide rail – when servicing the system, a professional removed it and cleaned it before reassembling it without damaging the structure or the wall. Speaking of the advantages of the cassette, Karolina also appreciates the self-closing mechanism. Its operation significantly improves the comfort of everyday use, but unfortunately, after a disagreement with her husband, she is unable to slam the doors. That’s a good thing 🙂

A client recently asked us if there was any way to style a door with little financial outlay. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any, but we were inspired to create something like this. That’s how LuxStar was born, a set for lifting doors in the Stark case.

The kit includes handles, connecting profiles, spigots, a hinge and a guide rail. Although these elements seem quite „technical”, they allow you to create an interesting and original door design. It’s like a puzzle, only the final look depends on us. When creating the doors, you can combine different fillings – a half-panel made of wood, half-panel made of glass. The only limit is your imagination. If you wanted to add decorative elements to the doors made of a uniform material, we recommend decorative spigots that you can arrange in any pattern you imagine. In each option, we install Twin vertical profiles – the so-called „handles”, which serve as handles that we use to move the doors. They are painted with a structural black or white paint (to choose from), which gives the loft-style decor a special touch.

Our client is delighted with this idea. An associate carpenter who made her doors has confirmed that he would be happy to undertake a facelift on the wing. We are confident that the final result will please Carolina.
We want to be a brand that creates for you. We are open to any suggestions for improvements to our systems. We are happy to listen to your advice and strive to continuously develop to be able to provide products that meet your needs!
